New to church?

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

Would you like to be met on your first visit? Click here.

Where & when does the church meet?
Our Church meets every Sunday at 10am and 6pm for our Sunday Services, which last 90 minutes. The 2nd Sunday of the month looks a little different, with an extra reflective service at 11:40am. Aim to arrive 10 minutes early to park and get a seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at: St Paul’s Church Centre, 15 Northey Avenue, Cheam, SM2 7HS. You can see a map on the contact us page

There's a car park at St Paul's but it's not enough for everyone. Most people tend to park on Nonsuch Walk, which runs both sides of Cheam Road, or on Northey Avenue. Parking is free, but please park with care for our neighbours and don't block their driveways.

What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome, and our Welcome Team will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.
There will be 15 mins of singing, then the children and youth go to their age-appropriate groups. We have some notices and 'Live the Story’ where we introduce members of the congregation with something interesting to share! There is then a bible reading and talk in the church arena, and the service concludes with a chance to respond, prayer and normally some more singing

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after both the 10am service and  the 6pm service, where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions. We also share in Holy Communion before the children go to their groups on the 1st Sunday of the month at the 10am, after the children go to their groups on the 3rd Sunday of the month at the 10am, and at the 6pm service on the 4th Sunday of the month for both young people and adults.

What is available for children at church?
At our 10am Service, we have a fantastic programme for children aged 0–11. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their various groups. You will need to go with your children to settle and register them.
Our 6pm service includes St Paul's Youth, a separate teaching stream for 11-18 year olds (School Years 7-13) who meet together to worship, discuss, and delve into who God is and what it means to be a Christian. We normally start in the church arena with the rest of the church to sing (worship). We then break off into our own space out back to continue with a talk and discussion.

Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself - people at St Paul’s tend to dress informally.

Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?
