Prison Fellowship mission is to show Christ’s love to prisoners by coming alongside them and supporting them. We seek through prayer and practical care to help, support and develop a Christian ministry to prisoners and their families.
St Paul’s support our two local prisons: HMP Highdown and HMP Down View. This is done through providing prayer and much-needed and wide-ranging help to the busy prison chaplaincies; actively participating in the Christmas Angel Tree project which enables parents in prison to send a gift to their children, strengthening the parent-child relationship, and lessening the heartache often experienced; facilitating in Sycamore Tree, a restorative justice and victim awareness course for prisoners to help them explore the impact of their crime and Letter Link providing written communication of hope and care to prisoners who may be alone.
