Prepare
One thing I have asked of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life; to behold the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. We seek the Lord our God; with all our heart; with all our soul; with all our mind and with all our strength. Let’s seek him now.

Reflect
Our bodies are temples! What does this mean? If we are followers of Jesus, our bodies become a place of worship to God. Just as Solomon’s Temple in the Old Testament was a place sacred and set apart by God, so is our physical bodies. The body of every believer is to be a place where God is worshipped and honoured at all times.
Jesus came into the temple and started to drive out all the people who were trying to get rich from the worshipers. They were robbing people in the house of God. The challenge here is have we made our bodies a den of robbers? What activities do we do with our bodies that is not worshipful to God? What do we watch, think and do that is not sacred and holy to God?
Be
Are you feeling that your body is nowhere near being a temple of God? Remember that you are made in the image of God. You are loved, unconditionally by our heavenly Father. He is welcoming you with open arms. No matter how we feel or what we have done he loves and cares for you. Spend a few moments remembering that. You are loved.
Become
Your arms are open wide
Grace takes me back again
You always take me back
There’s mercy in Your eyes
Thank you Lord of loving me
There’s nothing like your love
Do
Maybe there is something that you need to stop doing to enable our temples to be sacred and holy.
Practice
Traditionally during Lent we give up things! Why not try starting something new that will enable you to worship and honour God more.
