Prepare
One thing I have asked of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life; to behold the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. We seek the Lord our God; with all our heart; with all our soul; with all our mind and with all our strength. Let’s seek him now.

Reflect
The religious leaders ask Jesus “By what authority are you doing these things?” They wanted to know who gave him the right to teach and act as He had been doing. This was probably referring to Jesus clearing out the temple that we talked about yesterday. When Jesus gave them a counter-question they could not answer it and then had to humbly say “We don’t know!”
The religious leaders were fearful of losing their power and control and they refused to recognise Gods authority in Jesus. The personal challenge here is we often are fearful of losing control of our lives and giving that control to God. Relinquishing our own agenda of what we think is right for us is hard. But allowing God to have full control and power over our lives is life changing.
Be
For I know the plans Hе has for me
Yes, I know the plans Hе has for me
For my good
To give me a hope and a future
For I know the plans He has for me
Yes, I know He's workin' everything
For my good
To give me a hope and a future
Become
When I am anxious, when I am afraid
I take it to God and I call on His name
If the mover of mountains is listening to me
Why should I worry?
Why should I fear anything?
Send some time giving God any fears and worry’s that you are feeling about your future and give God all the power.
Do
I have found writing down my worries and concerns in a journal or notebook really helpful. There is something powerful about physically writing something down. Spend some time today, do this. Use what his written as a prayer focus and come back to it in the future a see Gods power at work within your life.
Practice
The old proverb ‘a problem shared is a problem halved’ is not scriptural but has a lot of truth. When we share our worries and concerns with others, we often feel a lot better for it. Maybe today you could share some of your worries with a close Christian friend. They can pray over it for you. Better still, keep talking to God about it.
